The Hi 5 by TAB is a very big version of a Hitop Camper. The DLX camper is based on a Toyota Hiace with a high roof and long wheelbase. The vehicles are from the years 2007-2011 and therefore still in good condition, even if there are signs of wear and tear as well as increased mileage.
With a length of 5.60 m it offers space for up to 5 people. During the day, a spacious seating area is created in the rear of the vehicle, which with a table in the middle, is the ideal place for family or group activities. A small but fairly well-equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave, 2-burner hob and sink allows travelers to be self-catering on the go.
With an impressive height of 2.10 m in the interior even taller people can stand up comfortably. The beds can also accommodate large passengers, because they are 2.00 m or 2.10 m long and hence longer than most beds found in campervans. At night, the seating area changes into the larger of the two beds, while the second double bed is set up in the roof of the camper. There is still air above the kitchen - pleasant! The interior of some Hi 5 models was renewed from 2018 - they are correspondingly more modern and have a slightly modified and improved interior.
